The blankets were delivered to St. Joseph Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 6 by three Bridge House clients who each had a hand in personally creating the gifts. Giving back to the community is an important part of recovery for people in the Bridge House program.

The blankets will provide comfort to children staying in the hospital’s pediatrics department.

“We are sincerely grateful for such a thoughtful gift for our young patients,” said Pat Waldron, Director of Pediatrics at St. Joseph Hospital. “These blankets will certainly provide some color and liveliness for their rooms.”
